In the '60s, Andrew Loog Oldham, manager of the Rolling Stones, wanted to build the English folk singer into the successor to Marianne Faithfull. After this failed and Bunyan's debut, released in 1970 and produced by Joe Boyd, went unnoticed, the singer withdrew from the music business.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eBut their work was not forgotten. In fact, among record collectors it became the holy grail of British folk and was traded secondhand for four-figure sums.
