Bikini Kill - Self-Titled, 12" Vinyl

Bikini Kill's self-titled EP, released in 1992, is a feminist punk classic that comprises six songs recorded at Inner Ear Studios, Yo-Yo Studios, and Washington D.C.'s Sanctuary Theater. The EP features Kathleen Hanna on vocals, Tobi Vail on drums, Billy Karren on guitar, and Kathi Wilcox on bass. Bikini Kill is credited with instigating the Riot Grrrl movement in the early 90s through their political lyrics, zines, and confrontational live performances. This EP marks the beginning of a larger campaign to release the complete Bikini Kill catalog, including previously unreleased material, on vinyl and CD.
